About the role
General Summary: Responsible for assisting in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs for learners enrolled in the education program as well as providing family consultation services to assigned families.
Reports To: School Principal
Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm with 45-minute lunch
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assisting in providing instructional and behavior reduction programs initiated by the teacher
- Assisting with the arrival and dismissal of assigned student(s)
- Assisting in collecting, reviewing, and performing basic analysis of data under the direct supervision of the teacher
- Assisting in the preparation of progress reports
- Participating in the development of Individualized Educational Plans
- Assisting in the supervision of assigned student(s) throughout the school day
