Title: Java Developer
Location: Monroe Township, NJ 08831
Work Mode: Onsite: 5 days/week
Contract Position.
Pay rate: $45/hr. on W2
Job Summary:
Client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain mission-critical applications that support the correct and efficient operation of its Distribution and Fulfillment Operations.
Knowledge & Experience
Years of hands-on experience with a JVM-based programming language (Java, Scala, Clojure, Kotlin, etc.) You will need to work with both of these platforms.
Years of hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) & Design (OOD) concepts and methodologies. Experience in the Functional Programming paradigm is a plus.
8+ years of hands-on experience with at least one major commercial Relational Database Management System (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or later, OR Demonstrated proficiency with one or more modern Java IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ, NetBeans, etc.)
Deep understanding on the theory and workings of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
