About the role
**Technical Lead / Head of Technology** We are looking for a hands-on **Technical Lead / Head of Technology** to take our business vision and turn it into the right technical architecture and working products. This person will own the technical direction of our **custom e-commerce platform, internal applications, API integrations, automations, and AI workflows**. You should be comfortable working across architecture, development, integrations, databases, cloud infrastructure, and AI. Responsibilities - Design and own the architecture of our custom e-commerce platform and internal applications - Build and manage API integrations between ERP, CRM, e-commerce, shipping, payments, inventory, and other systems - Translate business requirements into technical solutions and development plans - **Lead development teams and coordinate internal developers, contractors, and vendors** - Review technical designs, code, and implementation quality - Build custom applications and automation workflows - Design reliable APIs, webhooks, background jobs, and data synchronization - Troubleshoot complex system and integration issues - Implement monitoring, logging, and error handling - Use AI and LLMs to build practical AI-powered workflows, tools, and internal automation - Evaluate new technologies and decide what should be built versus purchased **Requirements** - Strong software engineering and system architecture experience - Proven experience **leading technical and development teams** - Excellent knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, databases, and system integrations - Experience building custom web applications and e-commerce platforms - Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React/Next.js, Python, or similar technologies - Experience with SQL databases and cloud platforms such as AWS - Very comfortable with **AI, LLM APIs, AI agents, and AI workflow automation** - Ability to understand a business problem and independently design the technical solution - Comfortable reviewing code and getting hands-on when needed - Strong problem-solving and communication skills Experience with **ERP systems, CRM platforms, e-commerce, warehouse systems, payments, shipping APIs, and business automation** is a major plus.
