About the role
Title: Java Engineer with Test Automation (W2/hybrid)
Location: Jersey City, NJ local candidates only - candidates will need to come onsite for interview
Requirements:
Playwright (UI test and API test – written in Java) Java language is needed
No JVM, No GC tuning – No nonfuntional / performance testing Performance testing is not needed
XRAY (Jira) – Test Case Management
Infra (AWS, Jenkins)
Financial domain and order management – testing trading systems
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Experience developing end-to-end functional automation test cases using Playwright with Java .
- Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
- Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Experience working and integrating with Xray (Jira Test Management) for test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and quality engineering practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and drive solutions from analysis through implementation.
