About the role
Cortrucent Technologies is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to help build and maintain healthcare technology platforms used by hospital systems and their patients, including a clinical document exchange and eligibility application and a companion patient-facing portal, all handling PHI under HIPAA. You will write, test, and ship production code across the full stack: Python backend services, modern JavaScript front ends, and hand-written SQL. You will use AI coding assistants as part of the daily workflow, with full responsibility for reviewing, correcting, and defending every line before it reaches a pull request. This is a hands-on role with structured onboarding, direct mentorship from senior engineers, and real ownership from day one. The right candidate has 1 to 3 years of professional experience (or equivalent ability), codes well, tests as a habit, and treats security and PHI handling as engineering fundamentals rather than someone else's job.
