We are seeking an experienced Senior DB2 Mainframe Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise DB2 database environments running on IBM z/OS mainframes.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and support DB2 database environments running on IBM z/OS mainframes.
- Perform physical DB2 database design, including the design and management of large tables and complex database structures.
- Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Support high-volume transaction processing in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Perform DB2 performance monitoring, troubleshooting, tuning, and optimization.
- Ensure database availability, reliability, security, and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with application developers, infrastructure teams, and other technical stakeholders to support database-related initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in DB2 database administration within an IBM z/OS mainframe environment.
- Strong expertise in DB2 database monitoring, maintenance, and administration.
- Experience with physical database design, particularly large tables and enterprise-scale databases.
- Hands-on experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
- Strong knowledge of DB2 performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience supporting high-volume transaction processing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
